The Sottobomba beach is part of the coastal stretch of white rock of Portoferraio together with the nearby beaches of Padulella (850 meters), Capo Bianco (700 meters) and Le Ghiaie (1.4 km). It can be reached via a steep staircase towards the sea, the view from the top reveals a paradisiacal scenario. Intense sea colors that stand out even more thanks to the white pebbles that cover the beach and seabed. Wild and uncontaminated aspect, ideal for those seeking tranquility and for snorkelers, equipped with a beach and a bar. We remind you that we are halfway to the Costa Verde, which owes its name to the luxuriant vegetation that enriches it, with its marvelous protected coves such as Seccione (1.2 km); Sansone (3.5 km) and Enfola.
